Nelson is a dream holiday destination in the top northwest corner of the South Island of NZ. With stunning white sand beaches, superb national parks, exquisite wineries and magnificent golf courses, these are but some of this regions many attractions. Our Nelson accommodation known as 404 Trafalgar is situated on South Trafalgar Street, the Top Of The Town. 404 has been returned to its original design purpose, and offers several sizes of very comfortable and modern serviced apartments.

The building is close in under The Grampians, an arrangement of cloud-wreathed hills that overlook the town. From the large roof garden there are panoramic views of Nelson City, with the Tasman Bay horizon to the north. To the south, The Grampians provide a refreshing colour and texture change from the lights and colours of the city, and bring nature close.

The south end of Trafalgar Street is noted for several of the original heritage homes, built while Nelson was busy establishing itself as a commercial and social hub for the Top of the South Island - these homes have gardens which are open to public enjoyment.

Cars are not required for around town, so park out under the palm trees and grab the camera and sunglasses; there are two directions to head - up onto The Grampians for a wander on the various designated bush walks, or down towards the bustling heart of Nelson.

404 is within two minutes walk of Cathedral Square - the centre of Nelson. We are five minutes walk into the shopping, cafe and bar section of Trafalgar Street, which is the main street of the city's layout.
